Personal application
Alfred — Personal Gmail Assistant
A private tool used by one person to keep track of personal email, decisions and follow-ups.
Mailbox Commander is the OAuth application identity currently used by the owner's Alfred personal email workflow. This page describes the same personal account integration.
What the application does
Alfred securely connects to the owner's personal Gmail account using Google OAuth. It checks recent Inbox metadata, identifies personal messages that may need attention, and may inspect selected personal message text locally to classify requests and follow-ups.
Separate, user-authorized Gmail permissions can support preparing drafts, labeling, archiving and sending specific personal messages. Consequential actions require the owner's review and approval. Alfred does not access the owner's employer email accounts.
Who can use it
This is not a public Gmail service. It is intended only for the owner of the connected Google account, running on the owner's authorized computer.
Privacy and control
The application stores OAuth credentials in Windows Credential Manager and keeps email-processing records on the owner's device. It does not intentionally export Gmail message bodies or OAuth credentials to a personal cloud server, advertisers or data brokers.
Read the full Gmail privacy policy for data access, storage, retention and revocation details.
